I am retired from teaching in the Computer Information Systems department at Buffalo State College. The objective of this program is to prepare students for work in information technology. It differs from Computer Science in that the emphasis is on business applications of technology. Before I took this on, I worked as a programmer, analyst, and designer for a couple financial and manufacturing corporations. Even earlier on, I was engaged in engineering work. I’ve yet to decide what I want to be when I grow up.
